I am currently in the process of updating the system's anti-spam ability. I have started entering (literally) thousands of known spammer IP addresses into the banned list. This should make sign-ups easier for everyone soon. I'm sure that there will be a few that'll get through, but they'll only in succeed in adding their IPs to the banned list. I hope to have the known list completely updated within the next 48 hours. After which, I'll remove the Admin-Activation on all new accounts and see how well the latest list works.
